“AI Tools: Practical Applications for the Classroom, Workshop and Training”

Workshop Description:

This hands-on workshop begins with a brief review of the plenary session, then guides participants in exploring creative uses of AI for classroom and workshop instruction. Through practical experimentation, participants will develop ideas and resources they can adapt to their own teaching, training and instructional settings.

Through guided, hands-on activities, participants will experiment with AI tools to develop practical resources that can be adapted to their instructional and professional contexts.  Examples may include learning activities, discussion prompts, assessments, or other instructional resources.

What to Bring:

Please bring a laptop to participate fully in the hands-on activities.

Educational Objectives:

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

1) Identify practical uses of AI relevant to their teaching, training, or professional context.

2)  Apply an AI tool to develop an instructional activity.

3)  Create a practical, adaptable resource using an AI tool for use in their own setting.
