William Woods University is currently seeking an Online Program Manager for Interpretation Studies in ASL-English.  The program manager will provide academic and administrative support to the University and to students enrolled in the program to enhance the overall instructional quality of the online Bachelor of Science in Interpreting Studies in ASL-English program.
Academic Related Functions: 
Work with staff and faculty to ensure the development and maintenance of quality in online education and student service programs and operations consistent with goals and objectives of the academic program.
Oversee processes related to curriculum revisions, program reviews, and curriculum change, course rotations and online schedules.
Work with university partners to assure management of the online platform.
Work with adjunct faculty, other program managers and Deans to design curriculum and serve as an instructor for the online program courses.
Ensure syllabi and textbooks remain applicable to current industry and online education practices.
Regularly participate in program evaluations and assessment of student learning reviews.
Identify faculty needs to meet the course rotation of the program.
Work with the HR office and the Dean’s office to provide a list of qualified faculty (qualified per course) that may be appointed to teach courses for which they are approved.
Notify Human Resources when there is a need to recruit additional adjunct faculty. Work with Human
Resources to receive applications, etc.
Complete faculty credential file for each adjunct, assuring faculty are qualified to teach the course and that updated official transcripts and other appropriate paperwork is completed in a timely fashion.
Collaborate with Human Resources to monitor faculty loads to assure a faculty member teaches no more than three classes in any one cohort program.
Leadership Related Functions:
Advise Online Liaison on all matters relating to the academic functions of the online Bachelor of Science in Interpreting Studies in ASL-English program with William Woods University.
Offer thoughtful leadership, creativity, and an experienced perspective on matters relating to sustainability of the online Bachelor of Science in Interpreting Studies in ASL-English program.
Offer expertise and provide direction, leadership, motivation and mentoring for all adjunct faculty and students within the online program.
Regularly attend adjunct faculty workshops and assist in the coordination of these events as needed.
Attend regular meetings on campus such as graduate council and other meetings as requested.
Prepare monthly report to the Online Liaison on activities and accomplishments to be submitted with the monthly report to the President.
Community Related Functions:
Build effective partnerships with local organizations to support sustainability of online programs within the academic division.
Represent the University at community events as needed.
Identify opportunities to educate and involve alumni in academic division initiatives.
Assist with enrollment initiatives when/where possible.
Position Requirements:
A master’s degree in a related discipline is required.
Work Schedule:
This is a twelve-month, exempt position.
