Treasurer’s Reportby Richard Laurion
|
English Version of Report
Hello from Tucson, Arizona. For a Minnesota boy like me, it is really hot, but the desert is certainly beautiful. I’m proud of this board as we intitiate the process of strategic planning. It has been a wonderful experience. Everyone has been contributing ideas about ways that we can improve and strengthen CIT as an organization. A big thank you to Nancy Hlibok (Editor’s Note: Nancy Amann) as she facilitated and assisted our board in identifying the important parts of our strategic plan.
Aside from the board retreat, I want to let you know of some of my work. I have been sharing with you the financial statements so you can see where we sit financially. If you have any questions or comments feel free to shoot me an email – treasurer@cit-asl.org. Also, we have the annual requirement for filing that we are operating as a non-profit. We file that with the Kansas Secretary of State’s office. In addition, we file our 990 report every year with the IRS. I am not sure if you are aware of this, but that is a public report that we are required to submit as a public non-profit. t is not something that we publish or share on our web site. (Editor’s Note: We have included the first two pages of the report below which show the overall picture of CIT’s finances. )If any of you are interested in reading the fullreport, please contact me and I will send it to you.
Thanks for checking in.
