My name is Alexis Zarret and I am a graduate student at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in the Health Care Interpretation program. If you are an American Sign Language interpreting student in your last year before graduation and over the age of 20, I am inviting you to participate in my Master’s research study by completing this survey.
Most people complete the survey in approximately 15 minutes. It contains questions on topics related to health and health care. First, you will read, view, or hear some health-related information. Then you will be asked some questions related to the information. The purpose of this survey is to find out what interpreting students think and understand about some health care issues. If you do not know the answer to a question, then it is okay to check the box that says, “Don’t know.” Some of the questions use names of people who are not real.
Every effort will be made to protect your information, but this cannot be guaranteed. Neither your name nor your email address will be associated with your answers or used in any report. This survey uses Flash and it is recommended that you complete it on a computer, rather than a mobile device.
Thank you for taking the time to participate in this study.
