Hello CIT! This is Jessica Bentley-Sassaman, CIT President.
During the 2018 CIT Business meeting a motion was made to explore certification for teachers of interpreting. This motion passed. You may be familiar with ASLTA’s ASL teacher certification, this would be a certification for interpreting teachers.
CIT is looking for people who are interested in serving on a committee which will explore the possibility of certification for teachers of interpreting. If you are interested in serving on this committee, please contact Jessica Bentley-Sassaman, CIT President at president@cit-asl.org.
