Happy Autumn. This fall begins a count down toward our exciting 2014 Conference next fall! Please be on lookout for Call for Proposals!
The Board met at our 2014 Conference site in Portland during the first week of September. We met with hotel staff and locals, and worked on conference logistics, such as, conference rooms, schedule, activities, and more. We created a preview video of our Conference site, and also of the exciting city, Portland, ORE.
The theme, “Back to Our Roots,” will mark our organization’s 35th anniversary. We will revisit our roots, communities and cultures that play a significant role in our teaching, research, training and mentoring. We encourage you to submit proposals focusing on thematic components of Interpreter Education: The Elements; The Essentials; The Environment; The Energy; and The Emotion.
