Community College of Philadelphia

General Description

Community College of Philadelphia is an open-admission, associate-degree-granting institution which provides access to higher education for all who may benefit. Its programs of study in the liberal arts and sciences, career technologies, and basic academic skills provide a coherent foundation for college transfer, employment and lifelong learning. The College serves Philadelphia by preparing its students to be informed and concerned citizens, active participants in the cultural life of the city, and enabled to meet the changing needs of business, industry and the professions.
For decades, CCP has been a leader in the field of interpreter education in the Philadelphia region. Hundreds of sign language interpreters have graduated from CCP and have remained in the area providing interpreting services for the community. Because of this history of excellence, we have formed relationships with the community that allow us to continue to provide the quality education we do for the benefit of the Philadelphia-area communities.
The Department of Psychology, Education and Human Services invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in ASL/English Interpreting for the 2020-2021 academic year.
