Saint Francis University invites applications for a full time nine-month non-tenure track Coordinator of ASL Operation position in the American Sign Language department in the School of Health Sciences & Education.  The Coordinator of ASL Operations is responsible to the Dean of Health Sciences & Education to handle the day to day operations of the ASL department as well as assist with teaching duties.
A Master’s degree in ASL Teaching, Linguistics, ASL Studies, Deaf Studies, Deaf Education, ASL Interpretation, or related field with a minimum of three years college teaching experience with supervisory experience required.  Advanced writing communication skills.  Experience writing extensive reports and managing budgets. Experience coordinating events. Experience with Canvas a plus.  One or a mix of the following certifications preferred: ASLPI score of 3+ or above, ASLTA Certification, RID, CDI, NIC or equivalent, NAD membership, and evidence of scholarship or professional presentations.
