The Conference of Interpreter Trainers is pleased to announce the publication of the International Journal of Interpreter Education 10(2). You can view the table of contents below. We want to highlight that the first research article, Designated or Preferred? A case study of a deaf academic and two signed language interpreters working together for a PhD defence contains video examples – the first time the IJIE has incorported signed language examples in publication. We hope that you will view this article and consider ways to promote signed languages for use in academic discourse.
