Call for Committee Members

Hello! We have already begun the process of preparing for CIT 2022!

We have selected a hotel and set dates. We are now ready to put out a call for volunteers to serve on the Conference Planning Committee. Our first and most pressing need is volunteers to serve on the Presentations Committee.

This committee will be responsible for selecting presentations and poster sessions for the conference. Our deadline for selecting the members of this committee is October 10, 2021. This link includes information about the Presentations Committee as well as other volunteer opportunities on the Conference Planning Committee for CIT 2022.

You can reach out to with any questions or concerns you may have. Those interested in committee service are encouraged to fill out the form at the link above. Once we have received your submission, we will be in touch with you with next steps.

Thank you for your consideration!

  1. Hello to the CIT Conference Committees for this year. In the past, I was coordinator for four awards for CIT included I have a few committees with me. It has been stopped due 19-COVID. I reached Kim Kruz last year and let me copied and pasted here

    Hi Leslie,

Wonderful to hear from you again!

No worries – we did not have regular CIT conference this year; therefore, no awards were given out this year. I just finished my four year term as CIT Vice President. Jenny Gough is now the new CIT Vice President which I am copying her to this email. She will be your point of contact person for the next conference awards, hopefully in 2022 in Philadelphia, if you are still interested in serving in this role.

Thank you so much for your commitment and for your service for this important part of CIT. It has been a pleasure and honor working with you. May our paths cross each other again someday in the near future and do stay well and healthy!

I am not sure you would like us to continue doing this for your conference this year. Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you
