    1. Conference Updates – board is to arrive in Salt Lake City on Monday October 29 for a meeting at 3:30 pm. Board members need to stay until Sunday November 4 so there is time to meet new board members, then fly out before noon.
    2. June Retreat – finalizing plans and meals.
    3. ASLTA – assistance in conference planning
  1. Public Relations & Outreach Cole
    1. Aurasma is now HP Reveal.  HP Reveal adds value to printed content through visual interactivity.  Janis contacted Jay Kreiger, CDI about working with CIT in developing augmented reality material for the conference: 1.) Legacies; 2.) Questions related to CIT/Conference.  Also, create QR for workshop evaluation for CEUs.
    2. Communication equity– practicing a full equity to communication in ASL at such conferences and gatherings.
    3. End of conference – Wrap-Up – an idea about participants receiving a stamp after visiting each vendor, and receiving a prize at drawing.
  1. Publications & Research Wheeler
    1. CIT Proceedings Guidelines for Publication Developed & Work on Proceedings Handbook based on the IJIE in the next few months.
    2. Possible R&D focus to ensure that research and practice are not separate entities in order to gain more community involvement.
    3. Following up on free/discounted registration for CIT volunteers doing service work will get free/discounted registration.

Announcements:
Leslie was awarded the Knights of the Flying Fingers Award by the National Association of the Deaf in recognizing her excellence in her dedicated volunteer services and work in the American deaf and hard of hearing community,
Janis Cole was awarded the NAD Outstanding Service to Interpreting Award which recognizes the excellence of her significant dedication and involvement with improving the quality of interpreting in the United States.
